The Iowa Wildlife Center Wants to Hear From You!
We do want to hear from you, and contacting us through our website is a good way to do so. However, if this is a wildlife emergency, please phone our office during office hours, M-F 8:30-5:00 at the number listed below. That's the best way to get the quickest response. If you have a wildlife emergency outside our office hours, we suggest you contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitator in your specific area, your county's conservation board, Iowa Department of Natural Resources conservation officer ("game warden") or local animal shelter.
Always provide your full contact information (name, address, phone numbers) where you can be reached and be ready to explain the wildlife situation with as many details as you can.
If you are contacting us for general information, including answers to specific questions regarding Iowa's wildlife or to inquire about our educational or informational programming or events, we also request full contact information and enough details so we may respond in a timely manner.
